Self Inspection

 
 

Based on teachings of Gurdjieff and others, but the lazy man's version. A videotaped documentation of me for 24 hours; someone will follow me around and film everything I do. Then I'll watch it and see what happens.  I have been trying to look into the mirror of the self for a long time; this is my final last-ditch effort; and enlightenment should surely follow. Then, there is The Mega Version (for which a theoretical underpinning is beginning to look pretty thin), where I walk around with a small monitor in my hands, watching yesterdays tape as the cameraman follows me around filming me today - and - it never ends. Will light come to this author? Never mind...
