The owner of Dominic's NY Pizzeria, Marco Zelliche, learned the art of making his delicious recipes while in Naples, Italy, the heart and soul of genuine Italian cuisine. Marco moved to the United States in 1995, and made his home in Brooklyn, New York. There, Marco began working at Casa Calamari. Casa Calamari became famous in Brooklyn for its 'authentic Italian cuisine', compliments of Marco Zelliche. Marco quickly became known as "the pizza man".

Marco took his years of fine experience and opened his own restaurant, Dominics NY Pizzeria, in Cary, North Carolina. The community embraced Marco's venture, many who are New York transplants themselves. Dominics NY Pizzeria flourished.
