1.   Pam Borton Radio Show
   

Join Gopher Women’s Basketball Coach Pam Borton for the Pam Borton Radio Show.  The show is held most Monday nights during the season at Applebees in the Radisson Hotel on Washington Avenue.  The radio show starts at 7:30 pm.  Come early and have dinner!

The Pam Borton Radio Show will be broadcast live on WCCO 830 AM Radio.

1.   Gophers Host Lions in Big Ten Home Opener
   

Penn State @ Gophers

Minnesota’s first Big Ten game at home is scheduled for January 1st at 2:00 pm CST.  The Gophers look to rebound from a conference season opening loss at Wisconsin earlier in the week.

Minnesota is now 8-4 overall and 0-1 in Big Ten Conference play.

1.   Free-Throw-a-Thon
   

We all know how important first impressions are and that is why it is important to remodel the Gopher Women’s Basketball offices - which is usually the first thing a recruit sees when they visit a campus.  You can help fund this project by participating in our Free-Throw-a-Thon - just pledge any amount per free throw made by the Gophers this season (the team averages about 480 as season).

1.   2008-2009 Coaches’ Luncheons
   

Come Join Coach Borton and Her Staff for Lunch!

The Fast Break Club will sponsor three Coaches’ Luncheons this season.  All Golden Gopher Coaches’ Luncheons will be held from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm at Town and Country Club in St. Paul. (300 Mississippi River Boulevard North, St. Paul)

Cost for each luncheon is $20 for Fast Break Club Members and $25 for non-members.

Dates for the 2008-2009 Coaches’ Luncheons:

-  Wednesday, November 5, 2008
-  Tuesday, January 27, 2009
-  Tuesday, February 10, 2009

Space is limited and these luncheons sell out quickly so reserve your spot early!
