26/05/11 We’ve Just sold our last copy of ‘keep smiling’ on cd. Never fear as it’s still available as a download everywhere. whether we get any more hard copies made depends as always on finances. basically what we need is someone to help us pay for it. IN other news you may have heard (or not) that we’ve been asked to play a session on marc riley’s bbc 6 music show. this is rather cool and exciting. thanks to the help of ace manchester band the longcut who have graciously agreed to be our band for that day we will be able to rock out for once. that day being june 21st. Midsummer night. makes it all the more special.
31/03/11 We’ve been pretty chuffed (happy) with some of the album reviews coming in for ‘keep smiling’. agreed it’s not to everyone’s taste (people’s mums apparently) but we’ve collected some of the more heart warming ones and made a reviews and press page for them here. there’s a link to an interviews page too. we don’t do that many interviews, not because we’re trying to be mysterious or aloof but mostly because no one wants to talk to us. but when we’re allowed to speak, you’ll find it on there. so yes go here for all of that gubbins (stuff).

31/01/11 The new album ‘Keep smiling’ is now available to preorder on cd from our greedbag shop page HERE. There’s also a free download of the song ‘sunstorms’ on our bandcamp page. We’ve added a couple more new tunes for you to listen to as well.
the album is released february 21st on cd and as a download worldwide on itunes etc.

19/01/11 Hey there and a happy new year to you. It’s been a little quiet on here of late but we promise we’ve been working very hard on getting our third album ready for you. it’s done now and we hope to be able to bring it to you very soon. we are making a video and all kinds of fun things which should be up online in the next couple of weeks, along with a cd pre-order link. yes we are actually going to get proper cds made this time. WE might have some more exciting news but it’s a secret at the moment. not for much longer we hope. we might just burst with excitement.

o1/10/10 SO AFTER A FEW MONTHS OF WAITING IT TURNS OUT THAT MICAH WON’T BE ABLE TO DRUM ON OUR NEW RECORD. THIS IS BECAUSE HIS FLATMATE IS A) MENTAL B) STRANGE C) OUR UBER-NEMESIS WHO WILL STOP AT NOTHING TO DELAY OUR GETTING THIS RECORD DONE BY NOT ALLOWING MICAH TO RECORD DRUMS IN THEIR LIVING ROOM!
BECAUSE OF THIS WE’VE RECRUITED ANOTHER DRUMMER TO HELP US FINISH OUR ALBUM. HE IS THE EX ‘BABY LEMONADE’ AND ‘LOVE’ GUITARIST RUSTY SQUEEZEBOX (HE ALSO PLAYS THE DRUMS as it happens!) WHO HAS BEEN AWESOME AND SAID YES TO FILLING THE DRUMMING SHOES.
HE’S DONE AN EXCELLENT JOB WITH THE SONGS AND MADE THEM ROCK SO NOW WE CAN FINALLY MOVE ON TO THE MIXING PROCESS. HOORAY.
A NEW YEAR RELEASE IS STILL LOOKING LIKELY AS WE HAVE TO MIX IT, MASTER IT, MOULD IT, KICK IT ABOUT, SEND IT OUT, MAKE VIDEOS, FINISH ARTWORK AND ALL THAT KIND OF THING.

11/07/10 we’ve added a short film that we were asked to be in called ‘nazareth’ to our “flicks’ page. it was made a couple of years ago by some friends of ours ‘hum drum films’ and we’ve never got around to adding it until now. sorry guys. it’s pretty strange but that’s a good thing in our book and we enjoyed watching it again. it involves eggs and a mugging. ok.

‘Um & ah’ has so far received some very good reviews and a manchester music online album of the week as well as airplay on kcrw los angeles which is very cool of them indeed.
in other news we both have new solo albums out now and a third sorry kisses album should also be in the pipeline very soon, plus a soundtrack album for the music we made for the crimefighters movie.
