A MESSAGE FROM THIS YEAR’S CHAIRS  WEEK OF 1/28/08....

We are so excited with your early, strong support of this year’s Annual Fund campaign.   As many of you may already know, we have a goal of having the Clairbourn community reach 100 percent participation.  That includes our families, teachers, staff and board of trustees.  It’s a big goal, but we feel confident its one that our school can reach!

The Teacher/Staff/Trustee contingency of the community reached their goal of 100% by the end of the year!  Now, we are in a super tight race among the classes to see who will be the first class to reach that goal!!

Currently our Class Representative, Hugh Mac Dhubhain has his 5th grade class in a solid first place lead with 70% of the class accounted for in this year’s campaign! 

A close 2nd place tie this week goes to the dynamic duo of Denise Bieker and Cynthy Moffatt, with a 63% showing for the 7th grade class and the lovely Trisha Searcy and her 3rd grade class!!  Jill Pearson and her 6th grade class rounds out the top three with 60% participation! 

Be sure to check below to see how your class is doing in the bid to be the first class to make 100 percent with the ultimate goal of bringing the entire Clairbourn Community together for a first ever 100 percent support rate for the Annual Fund!

Your generous support of this year’s Annual Fund, stands in tribute to all these values that are uniquely Clairbourn, and is critical on so many levels.   

On the broadest level, your contribution acts as the great equalizer that helps keep tuition costs at an affordable level for many families.

On a more immediate level, your contribution is put to use during this 2007/08 school year to directly impact every student in a multitude of ways including funding for specialists in music, art, language and technology.   Your support of the Annual Fund also ensures our class sizes remain small and that we have the latest in technology in our classrooms, library and media lab.

If you have not done so yet, please join us in celebrating all the successes of our children and Clairbourn by giving generously to this year’s Annual Fund, the power of ONE.

You may also mail in your donation envelope enclosed in the AF Brochure mailed to your home earlier this year or drop in to pick up an envelope and leave with our receptionist Michelle Cogswell at the reception office.    

Every gift to the annual fund counts!  100 percent participation among our families, faculty and staff is one of our goals for this years Annual Fund, we are relying on every family, faculty and staff like yourself to ensure we reach this years goal....
