IN FOLIO MAGAZINE,
Suzanne Smith wrote of Ms. Parks: “Her works reveal a fresh, direct application technique rather than a more blended tightness that might threaten each stroke out of its individual color...She utilizes a progression of color to produce depth from the foreground elements to the most distant. The effect of surround is all important in her technique.
“In addition to developing a fascinating formula for color that exceeds anything you may have learned in college, she has a talent for business. entrepreneurial skills turned her trademarked color system, with its application into marketing, fashion, interior design, cosmetics, optometry and psychology into her own Color Charisma business. She co-authored a book, Success Through Color Charisma and has been featured in numerous publications and articles, made over 11 television appearances, was included in Who’s Who in the East, and was once nominated as Atlanta’s Business Person of the Year.”

Work experience in portrait photography, fashion design, and graphic art, evolved into the development of her color system based on afterimage and the laws of vision.
Her award winning paintings are part of corporate and personal collections in several states, Canada, Finland, Iceland, Belgium and Japan.
The largest work, to date, was completed in 2005. Two Rivers and a Dream, a mural that measures thirty-four feet wide by eight feet high, hangs ten feet above the floor of the Robert F. L. Sikes Library in Crestview, Florida.
Sandra Saltness Parks, former resident of nine other states, now lives in Tucson, Arizona.
