Life Near The park

So in the past week, I have created an annotated bibliography about the choral works of Arvo Pärt using 6 different types of sources. I have also written a narrative description about the choral work of Mendelssohn. I was also asked to create a repertoire list of 5 different choral works for each of the major historical periods; repertoire must include songs from three different foreign languages; translation and interpretation of the text must be included; and conducting issues for each work must be discussed. Finally, I was given ten combined choral / orchestral works and asked to provide the necessary forces for each work (instrumentalists and singers needed), provide details of the premiere of each piece, and describe how one might adapt each of these works into a modern setting.

In total, it took about 50 pages to sufficiently answer everything. I completed my last question at 3:17 am, Thursday morning. All I really have left now is my recital. Soon it will be back to the real world!!

 - on a side note - the picture above is from high school. A former teacher emailed them to her niece who happens to be attending ISU. I think she was possibly hoping to black mail me with them. I figured it was easier on me if I just shared them with everyone first.
Jonathan is ALMOST done!!
