Adopt-a-Teen
Its great to know that someone is praying for you. Of course we can always pray to our Father in heaven, due to the Glorious fact of what Jesus did on the cross for us. But God also calls us to pray for one another, check this verse out:
I Tim 1:3-6 “ I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you. I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” This was Paul writing to a young man named Timothy. Paul continued to pray for and encourage Timothy in his relationship with Jesus.
We have people in our church who would love to pray for you specifically and on an ongoing basis. Its sort of like your adopted prayer partner. if you would like to sign up to have a dedicated Christian be praying for you, sign up today.
And mom and dad, if you are reading this, we will let you know who it is who is praying for your child. Our teen’s safety is our number one concern, and we have policies in place to keep our teens protected.
it is our attempt to bridge this body of Christ by having some of our older church members to be praying for our younger ones. please let us know if you have any questions.
