Ryan Kerney’s Homepage

I am an American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science and Technology Policy Fellowship in the Department of Energy’s office of Strategic Programs within Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE). I am developing tools for education, workforce development, and portfolio analysis during the fellowship.

I recently finished a post doctoral researcher position in the lab of Brian Hall, at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. My research there included evolutionary-developmental biology (Evo-Devo), skeletal development, and symbiosis. My Ph.D. (2007) was from the lab of James Hanken at the Museum of Comparative Zoology (Harvard University) where I studied the evolution and development of frog skeletons.
