My work deals with the relationships people have with each other, how they communicate and the behaviors particular to couples, friends, lovers and family. Most interesting to me are the strange and compelling images and sensations created by this unique form of getting to know each other.  The beauty occurs when new instances are realized at unexpected moments. 

Currently, my work has drifted towards the narrative, further exploring characters and their relationships to each other, the awkwardness of being a person and the mixed nature of people.  This progression has manifested itself into performances that reinterpret songs of Iggy Pop and Elton John, explore mythical characters and the absurdity in their behaviors to collage hybrids of personal iconography and characters--Snow White Man, Teddy Bear Man, Pool Party Man, Valentine Man.  Together with the performance group Glitter Chariot, I have developed a strong and unique approach to understanding our relationships and how these mixes of character, behaviors, and form create a funny and dark sense of ourselves.

Inside you can find images of work made over the past 10 years as well as my new explorations in art direction and design for films, commercials and print projects.  Recent projects include spots for Apple IMac, Ebay, IBM and two features for Sony pictures.
