California PTA has a team of volunteer legislative advocates who work to support or oppose bills in Sacramento, based on PTA principles and resolutions approved by members at PTA conventions. You, too, can participate in this process by joining the CAPTA Legislative Alert List. Receive legislative alerts via e-mail which will allow you to contact your legislators in a timely manner. To sign up, send you name, PTA position, and e-mail address to PTAadvocacy@aol.com

The California PTA works diligently to ensure all students in our state receive proper advocacy regarding education and safety. If you would like to know more about our state PTA, click here for further details.
