Welcome to the brand new Friends Store.

OK, you’ve become a member to help support the activities of the Friends of the Environment. You’ve enjoyed our talks, bird and butterfly walks, and our Moth Nights. Your children loved the astronomy nights and helping salamanders across Beekman Road. But now you still want more. We think we have the answer to satisfy those needs.

Now, you can take some of the Friends home with you, or give a little bit of the Friends to others to enjoy all year round.

Introducing The Friends Store…a place where you can take home the same beautiful high quality photographs you see on these web pages. Or you can purchase a poster. And, soon, we will have Friends shirts and hats for you and your family.

The Friends is now offering high quality photographs, suitable for framing, that you can purchase, and a poster for sale. Hats, shirts and other items will follow. (See the GIFT ITEMS box on the right for more information.)

Your purchase will help us increase the quality, variety and frequency of our programs by…

1. bringing in a wider variety of fascinating speakers, covering a greater range of topics,
   

2. enabling us to conduct more walks, astronomy nights, moon prowls, moth nights, and other events,
   

3. allowing us to purchase the needed equipment to provide top-quality lectures and presentations,
   

4. conducting programs targeted at students of all age levels.
