Golden Gate Strings was created in 2004 by longtime San Francisco musician, Su Buchignani.  Over the years, she has seen the return to elegance in Bay Area events and realized that San Francisco deserved a musical group to complement this renewed elegance.  Assembling an extraordinary ensemble of concertmasters and principal players from the greater Bay Area's finest symphony orchestras and creating exclusive arrangements for the ensemble in many styles from Classical to R & B, Motown and well beyond, Golden Gate Strings was born.
