Turkey
I’ve been going to Turkey since 1986 thanks to my best friend, Ayşe Carden, who took me along as her research assistant. She introduced me to her family and culture and I was “adopted” by both. Since Turkey is not a common destination for Americans I’ve probably been in touch with dozens of folks who were going and wanted some suggestions. I figured I’d write my suggestions down on a blog.
