This is what it is all about!

Drug pages with specific variants.

A major new feature of our database is that there is now a tab for drugs called "Genetics" that summarizes the key variants that are either known or suspected to affect the response to the drug.  This feature is enabled by our recent emphasis on collecting and cataloguing all such associations.  In the example above, we show variants associated with warfarin response.  The annotations are labelled using the PharmGKB "star" system (3 = human curated in-depth, 2 = humans have checked for reasonableness, 1 = computer generated, needs verification).  This tab will only be present if there is at least one annotated variant for a drug.  It is an important milestone to be moving past the general association of drugs and genes towards more specific associations with particular variations.   If you see a variant that we should annotate but haven't, please let us know!
