STUDENT RULES FOR THE CONFERENCE
Rule A. Please pack and bring to the conference:
1. your student photo ID (and if you're traveling past a checkpoint, your passport or government ID)
2. a flag of your country (if you have one)
3. your Rotary blazer (or your national costume if you have one)
4. pins and calling cards to exchange with other students and Rotarians
5. pictures of your home and your stay to share
6. money for two meals and for extra expenses you might make
7. a pillow and sleeping bag (for home hosting and lock-in)
8. clothes for cold weather and for casual wear
9. a camera and film or memory boards and your charger
10. a CD player, Ipod, or other entertainment you would like for travel (not for use at host family homes)
Rule B. Please put your name and District number on all your suitcases, bags, backpacks, and knapsacks.
Rule C. Please do not bring anything you cannot afford to lose or replace (for example, a laptop).
Rule D. Please follow these rules:
1. When you travel, if you have a District t-shirt, please wear it.
2. Arrive on Friday, February 1, between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the Tulsa Radisson Hotel.
3. Go to the hotel's first floor lobby, near the gift shop, to find the SCRYE Conference registration table.
4. At the registration table, check in, and follow the Rotarian organizers' instructions.
5. Expect a Tulsa host family member to pick you up and drive you to their home for the evening.
6. Expect to spend the evening with that family and other exchange students.
7. Follow all check-in rules regarding your travel and stay at host families and at the hotel.
8. Remember that there are a lot of good people working hard to show you a great weekend.
9. Follow your Rotarian organizers' directions, be outgoing, be friendly, be flexible -- and have FUN!
