Rule 42. Display comportment at all times reflecting credit on yourself, the home country, and Rotary (41.080.10).

Rule 43. Respect others and act responsibly, befitting your role in the program (41.080.10).

Rule 44. Expect to be permanently removed from involvement with youth if you do not comply with program requirements (41.080.11).

Rule 45. Ensure that preliminary agreements accurately:

                    a. reflect what participants expect from the group with which the exchange is arranged (41.080.12); and

                    b. reflect especially what participants expect in the area of selection and orientation (41.080.12).

Rule 46. Provide the exchangee with a list of individuals to contact in the case of a problem or emergency, including:

                    a. the name and contact information for the exchangee's sponsoring Rotary counselor (41.080.13); and

                    b. the name and contact information for the exchangee's sponsoring Rotary club president (41.080.13); and

                    c. the name and contact information for the exchangee's sponsoring district chair (41.080.13); and

                    d. the name and contact information for the exchangee's sponsoring district governor (41.080.13); and

                    e. the name and contact information for the exchangee's hosting Rotary counselor (41.080.13); and

                    f. the name and contact information for the exchangee's hosting Rotary club president (41.080.13); and

                    g. the name and contact information for the exchangee's hosting district chair (41.080.13); and

                    h. the name and contact information for the exchangee's hosting district governor (41.080.13).

Rule 47. Ensure that the exchangee uses standard Youth Exchange applications (41.080.14).

Rule 48. Ensure that the clubs and districts return the RI pages of the standard Youth Exchange applications (41.080.14).

Rule 49. Ensure that the applications are signed by the students (41.080.14).

Rule 50. Ensure that the applications are returned at least one month prior to the beginning of an exchange (41.080.14).

Rule 51. Encourage exchangees and their parents or legal guardians, following their return, to attend a meeting conducted:

                    a. by the District Youth Exchange Committee (41.080.18); and

                    b. for debriefing of recently returned exchangees (41.080.18); and

                    c. for the purpose of assisting them to return to their home, school, and community environment (41.080.18).

Rule 52. Ensure that the sending club or district requires a report from long-term exchangees on a monthly basis, to include:

                    a. information on their current hosts, feelings, concerns, regarding their exchange experience thus far (41.080.19); and

                    b. information on their ideas and suggestions regarding their exchange experience thus far (41.080.19).

Rule 53. Ensure that the designated Youth Exchange Officer (YEO) reviews the Rule 52 reports carefully (41.080.19).

Rule 54. Ensure that the YEO, when necessary, takes action to respond to any irregularities reported by the students (41.080.19).

Rule 55. Ensure that in cooperating in sending a young person abroad on an international travel activity:

                    a. careful plans are made in advance (41.080.5, June 1998 Mtg., Bd. Dec. 348); and

                    b. careful plans are made covering every aspect of the proposed trip (41.080.5, June 1998 Mtg., Bd. Dec. 348).
