Tuffy is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel from Boston, Massachusetts.  He is

certified as a “Type 1” Animal Assisted Crisis Responder with his partner

and Mum, Dr. Karla Rose.  Together, they respond to crisis (critical

incidents) at the local, state and national level including school or workplace trauma, violence or mass casualty. They serve on several C.I.S.M. (Critical Incident Stress Management) Teams in Massachusetts. Tuffy was guest of honor at commencement receiving a diploma from the high school he served for 6 months in 2007.
