Item 4:
Communication to GGNA membership
It has been agreed by all officers voted 5-0 for having a Quarterly Newsletter sent and distributed to all existing members as well as distribution to potential members within GGNA district. Possibilities of outreach to neighboring home owners around the Greater Gardner Neighborhood was also discussed as positive. Board will revisit as year progresses on how this will be actually facilitated.

Other Items Discussed:

Annual picnic for next year was discussed. Ideas were presented to have a Fall Festival/Pot Luck instead of a summer picnic. Purpose of the Fall Festival will be primarily to encourage membership of neighbors into the GGNA and to open communication and participation of membership in a social setting. Board members will revisit this idea in future meetings.

Holiday Season Luminarias was a success last December. Agreed by all board members that this would continue, but with the added benefit of receiving donations from the neighborhood to Charitable Organization in return for sand, bags, and candles. Boy Scouts was a possible candidate for this event.

Formation of GGNA Website.
Kyle presented the possibility of starting a website for GGNA. Kyle will follow up with more details on website formation at later meeting.

Newsletter format:
Ideas were presented on what we could do to make our Newsletter for GGNA more readable and informative for our members and potential neighbors. Focus is on consistency in delivery. Quarterly Newsletters were decided on rather that annually or semi annually. Participation may be required to present topics for articles and interesting tidbits that are interesting and fun. Also main focus of newsletter is to provide information on how to join GGNA.
