2007 RPGG Garden Meander

True to the vision of building community through beauty, camaraderie and involvement, the Rogers Park Garden Group hosted its first annual Garden Meander. The event included three single-family homes, a condominium association and a rental apartment courtyard who opened their garden gates to share the beauty within.

Josh and his team from Amphora Restaurant on Clark Street graciously provided the Garden Meander reception with a huge donated assortment of delectable dishes—and nothing went to waste because the turn out surpassed the wildest hopes of the event organizers. The appeal of a relaxing walk in wonderful weather must have been irresisible, because over 20 brand new members decided to join RPGG on the spot! Thank you to all who welcomed RPGG members into your gardens and to everyone who participated.
