Rogers Park Garden Group
2007 community garden

If you've not yet had opportunity to meander the Circle Park planters at the end of Morse Ave., you're missing an awesome sight for sore eyes.  After approximately 15 years of neglect, the planters have come alive with beautiful perennials and annuals.  In addition to the initial planting in June, we also installed the three flats of perennials that Terry Guen so kindly donated at the June 26 RPGG meeting.  We would especially like to thank the garden sponsors including: The Loyola Park Keepers, the neighborhood group that raised the bulk of the funding for the planting, Anton's Greenhouses, Gethsemane's, Friends of the Park, Loews (on Touhy), Keith Lord, and the individual RPGG members who donated plant material, funding, and helped facilitate sponsorship and in kind donations.  The village, so to speak, really came together, and the RPGG is appreciative of everyone's efforts to make this first project work.  THANKS TO ALL!
