Our connection to the Sacred Isle

Avalon, is the “Isle of Apples’, it is also known as ‘Inis Witrin, the Isle of Glass” Originally a land of women, of Priestesses who serve the Great Mother, the Goddess who birthed all into being. Avalon is the Mysterious land of Morgan Le Fey lost within the mists of time, to where King Arthur, “The Once and future king” was ferried to, to be healed of his wounds until the day he returns to heal the wasteland. The Isle of Avalon is just there, beside, beneath, above, and between. Avalon is most closely found through her ancient presence as Glastonbury, England. The Tor, the 7-circuit Labyrinth, Brides’ mound, Chalice well, The White Spring, Wearyall and Windmill hill, the Omphalos stone, these are but the tools and treasures left to us from a time of the Goddess, a time before the power of Avalon was reduced to myth and faery Tale.

Avalon is still there. For the Priestesses and Priests in California, we connect through the heart of the Goddess to Avalon, whenever we stand within the mists, wherever lake meets shore, through the portal of the sacred springs, wherever the mountains meet the sky, between the stones, through the forests, caves and labyrinthine journeys. Avalon, is the heartbeat and magic of the Goddess where she reveals herself on Earth.
