Welcome to Roxridge Rhodesian Ridgebacks. My name is Cindy Cartwright, and I have been a dog owner most of my life. I have owned and shown Pembroke Welsh Corgis. In 2001 I purchased my first ridgeback to be a friend and companion for Gwennie my aging Corgi. I fell in love with Roxie and the breed. In 2003, Mira, my second ridgeback, joined the family. July 2006 Roxie gave birth to six beautiful puppies. Sara, who my mother named after my grandmother, is the newest member of my ridgeback family. I am an active member in a number of Southern California Rhodesian Ridgeback Clubs and president of the San Diego Rhodesian Ridgeback Club. I am also a member of RRCUS the national ridgeback club. My ridgebacks are active in conformation and lure coursing. I am starting to train Sara to compete in agility trials.

Roxie, Mira, Sara and I live on 2 1/2 fenced acres in the agricultural community of Valley Center in northern San Diego County, California. Even though Roxie , Mira, and Sara have plenty of room to run and play, they love to lounge in the house and sleep in my bedroom. They enjoy being with people and are very gentle with children.
