Position Papers Relating to Analysis of Genomes
Most of my writing during the last few years has focused on analysis of genomes. Here I include a number of position papers, reflections, and so forth.
I find it very useful to try to summarize my understanding of areas, even areas in which I have no real expertise. Occasionally I make them available to see what people think about them.
I have been a libertarian since about the age of 16. For a number of years I was an editor of Liberty. The magazine was started by my lifelong friend Bill Bradford, and I am still delighted to be able to make occasional contributions.
This is the Web Site of Ross Overbeek, the fellow that taught computer science at Northern Ill. University, worked at Argonne National Lab, helped build Integrated Genomics, and was one of the founders of the Fellowship for Interpretation of Genomes (FIG)
