TRU HiG Double Degree

 
 

The following requirements are required for completion of the geography-geomatics double degree. These requirements are in addition to the usual requirement for entry into and progress (e.g. good standing) through the university’s regular programs. Consult calendars and advisors if in doubt.


Admission:

60 credits including the block transfer courses


Block Transfer:

  1. 6 credits Physical: GEOG 112 & 122

  2. 3 credits Physical - Method: GEOG 205

  3. 3 credits Planning: GEOG 212

  4. 6 credits Techniques: GEOG 270 & 275

  5. 3 credits Policy: e.g. POLI 223, 225 or 260 (or similar government/policy course on approval)

  6. 9 additional credits (COMP 113 or a similar course in computer programming is strongly recommended for students who plan to take GIS application development courses)


HiG Upper Level: 60 ECTS points B or C level geomatics courses, including the 15 ECTS thesis


Study Abroad:  30 of the 60 ECTS points must be completed in Sweden
