Ron Jude
Ron Jude is a photographer and teacher whose work has been exhibited at venues such as the Photographers' Gallery in London, the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Roth/Horowitz Gallery in New York, San Francisco Camerawork, and Proekt_Fabrika in Moscow. His photographs are in many permanent collections, including institutions such as the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the New Orleans Museum of Art, and the George Eastman House. Jude's work has been published in The New Yorker, Blind Spot and DoubleTake magazines, among others. He recently published two artist’s books entitled Alpine Star and Postcards, respectively.
Jude is an Associate Professor in the Cinema, Photography, and Media Arts Department at Ithaca College in Central New York. He has been teaching photography since 1993, and has been in his current position since 1999.
In October of 2008 The Ice Plant in Los Angeles published Other Nature, a collection of photographs from 2001-2007. An excerpt of this work was exhibited at Gallery Luisotti in Santa Monica  in May and June of 2009.
