We had so much fun last year, we just had to do it again! Seriously, it was a joy to return to the area and this time meet old friends; more of which later.

Our travel plans differed in that we flew via Prague and on to Marco Polo airport, Venice. Unfortunately, we missed the connection to Longarone which meant a three hour wait for the next train.

So when we reached Longarone by train, it was dark and after half an hour of walking around we resorted to staying the first and only hotel we could find.

More difficult still, was trying to find somewhere to eat, but settled for a ice-cream cafe which had some mini pizzas and of course, beer.

It had been a long day ... two aeroplanes, two buses, two trains and we had made it!
