Wow!!! what a night in Youngsville this past Wednesday.  The Youngsville Free Methodist Church teamed up with Family Life Ministries as well as a bunch of other churches to bring together a tremendous event for the youth of our area.  There were over 130 teenagers who competed in the challenges and many, many more people who attended to cheer them on.  They had games such as tug of war, swimming, crazy relay races and many more.  There was also great food (Thank you Cheney’s farm for the corn) and music (thank you Ben, Liz, Eric, Dave and Nate).  Don Sunshine gave a very pointed message on turning our lives over to Jesus and 53 people responded to the Call to follow Jesus.  

 

From PF we had 4 teams of 10 compete.  They had a lot of fun and actually did very well.  But the greatest of all was all the people who’s lives have been changed by the message of Jesus.  

 

Thanks, Kelly for having the vision for this and all the other people (way to go Dean) who put in a lot of time and effort to make it a success.

 

We look forward to continuing to partner with all these ministries in furthering the kingdom of our King.
