Over 20 miles of way-marked public footpaths and permissive paths run around Mannington and Wolterton linking into the Weavers Way long distance footpath and Holt circular walk. You can discover a wide variety of plants and wildlife on the walks
Members of the Mannington Minnows and The Hawks receive a monthly newsletter per family. This includes articles on natural history, local history, art and craft ideas, quizzes and competitions. Each member also gets a £2.00 reduction on Nature Discovery Days along with a badge and membership card, and priority booking on events.

& Wolterton everyday 9am - dusk.

Wheelchair accessible lavatories are available.
At Mannington there is a boardwalk across the wet flower meadow to a bird hide, which have been adapted for wheelchair users and pushchairs.
Wolterton has a orienteering course and adventure playground.
The Mannington Minnows is a club for children aged 6 – 12 years interested in the countryside and nature.
The Hawks Natural History Club is a special section for the over 12s.

Nature Discovery Days are held during school holidays. Previous programmes have included: pond dipping, a spider day, birds of prey, bats, practical conservation, and games and crafts with visiting specialists.
Care must be taken as electric fences are used. All grazing is let and livestock are not owned by the Estate.
Members have the opportunity for priority booking on these popular days.
