Wing Cottage, Mannington
Attached to the medieval Mannington Hall, Wing Cottage has views over the moat and lake.
The downstairs accommodation includes:
- a sitting room with comfortable seating and a television with video player;
- a good-sized kitchen with seating for 4-6, a fridge/ freezer, washing machine, microwave and oven, electric hob, toaster, kettle, crockery etc.
Upstairs there is:
- a bathroom with shower over a bath, a lavatory and a washbasin;
- a double bedroom with a wardrobe;
- a child’s bedroom with one set of bunk beds and one single bed with a wardrobe.
Other beds can be provided if requested. Linen can be provided.
Wing Cottage shares Mannington Hall’s oil-fired central heating system. There are also electric heaters in each room and an open fire. The water is heated using an electric immersion heater. Electricity is only charged beyond a certain number of units.
There is a stair lift between the ground floor and the first floor.
There is no private garden, but guests are welcome to use the Hall’s gardens at any time. They must respect the fact that the gardens are open to the public during seasonal opening hours. Garden chairs are provided.
Wing Cottage is not suitable for pets or families with very small children.
Car parking is available outside Wing Cottage.
Rates are:
£200 per week (high season: May to September inclusive); £175 per week (low season) based on 2 people sharing.
There is a supplement of £5 per person per night for more than 2 people.
Linen is charged at £5 per bed.
Shorter stay rates: £30 per night based on 2 people sharing, plus £5 per bed if linen is required.
It is expected that it will be left clean and tidy. If Wing Cottage is left in an unsatisfactory condition, a minimum cleaning charge of £20 will be added.
Wing Cottage is available from Saturday at 3pm until Saturday at 11am, unless special arrangements have been made.
