My other life as a stone carver involves the shifting of heavy heavy things. I have always been careful about my back. Apart from using lifting pulleys I also wear a special girdle to support my back posture (and to aid the profile of my beer infested figure). Therefore I found it no irony at all to create a classy Welsh slate sign for an osteopathic practice. Here’s a sign with a modern approach that sits well in a traditional environment. Check out the welded steel frame that had to be built to support the weight of the slate.
