I have been a published children’s book illustrator/author for over 17 years. I graduated with honors, form the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, with a degree in Visual Communications. I was an award winning Art Director in the South Florida area for 10 years. I then made the decision to turn my attention to becoming a children’s book illustrator after we relocated to Connecticut.
I have illustrated over 65 children’s books, including board books, picture books, crafts books, interactive books, educational and religious art, as well as bath books. I have also licensed art work to Dimensions Crafts.
“Zoe’s Hats” which I wrote and illustrated, was published by Boyds Mills Press.
Partial client list - Boyds Mills Press, Highlights for Children, Millbrook Press, Playskool, Dutton, Twin Sisters and Scholastic.
My biggest passion, besides illustrating is for animals. I have always been involved with my local animal welfare groups. I have a rescue German Shepherd, 3 rescue kitties, birds and fish. Oh, and a husband and a son.
I am honored to have had the opportunity to illustrate “Strada”, a beautiful Siamese kitty.
