Rita has studied art since childhood. She worked as a graphic artist and art director for advertising agencies for 15 years in New York, Houston, Miami and South Carolina. Rita is now a full-time artist doing commissioned art and murals for businesses and private clients. She lives and works in  South Carolina by the beach and is currently refurbishing a cottage to be used as an art school and studio space. “I love cats and Rambeaux is beautiful! I painted him in pastels so that all the many layers of color in his fur would show through.”
