Meredith was born and raised in Mariemont, Ohio where she currently resides. She has been drawing since the age of 3 and animals have always been her favorite subject.  After graduating from Miami University with a BFA, she began an 11-year career designing decorative flags, home decor, novelty items, giftware, greeting cards, animated online greetings, gift bags and gift wrap for three local companies, and one a major greeting card company. For the past 4 years, Meredith has worked out of her home as a freelance illustrator where she continues to design these products. She has recently added educational activity books and related materials to her repertoire.

Her feline companion, Spencer is always by her side in the studio closely "supervising" her work.  Consequently, it's sometimes difficult to complete an illustration without a few cat hairs incorporating themselves into the paint.
