Janet is originally from New Jersey, where she received a BA in Art from Kean University, and studied at The Art Students League in New York City. After moving to Rhode Island, she worked for several years as an artist for a major greeting card company. She then began freelancing, creating designs for greeting cards, giftware and jewelry, and has been doing so ever since.

Janet loves all animals and enjoys including them in her artwork. She lives in Smithfield, Rhode Island with her husband, Bob, and their tortoiseshell kitty, Nicole.
