Jane Dippold
Jane Dippold was born in Coldwater, Ohio and graduated from Miami University in Ohio with a degree in Fine Arts. She started her career at Gibson Greeting Cards, and now has worked as a freelance artist for the past 14 years. She has illustrated over 20 children’s books in addition to illustrating for children’s magazines. Jane also designs greeting cards, gift wrap, and gift products. Her most recent children’s book in 2007 is “Papa Jethro”, written by Deborah Bodin Cohen. Other recent books include “Traveling Babies” by Kathryn Galbraith, and three books in the “My Favorite Verses” series written by Dandi Daley Mackall.
Jane dedicates her art for the Foreclosure Cats Project to her past fluffy friends: Pierre, Maggie, Patches, Chessie, and Tatum, and to her current studio helper, Pebbles.
