Fresh Air
 
 
During the months of April and May, I have been asked by my good buddy
Bo Mitchell (some of you might remember him from Somewhere Fast) to
teach on Thursday nights at an event called Fresh Air.  This is a very low-key time of hanging out together and studying the Bible Together.  I have picked as a subject the New Testament letter of Paul to the churches of Galatia.  The specific angle I intend to explore is how Paul uses this letter - perhaps the earliest of all the New Testament documents to explain to several groups of followers of Jesus what Real Christianity looks like.  Since this is also the title of the book by William Wilberforce that I have recently updated and adapted into modern language, I hope to use the sessions to highlight some of the material from Wilberforce’s exploration of the subject of authentic faith in a time of cultural Christianity.  Come join us when you are in the Denver area.  Here are the specifics:
