To the families and friends of those who lost their lives in the pursuit of a life lived with out oppression and fear, a life lived as a free person, my heart and thoughts are with you. Struggles of this nature are never easy and losses, sadly, will be taken, but fear is cannot be a reason not to do something that is known to be right.

 

I am indeed proud that violence on the side of the Burmese people has been limited if not non-existent in the face of the force that is being used against them. Again let us in the States and the rest of the world speak up and out, let our voices ring with support and love.
