ARE YOU A HEALER?
IS YOUR LIFE DEVOTED TO HELPING OTHERS?
ARE YOU INVESTED IN CONTINUED PERSONAL GROWTH?
You can help many others and yourself through the healing energies of sound and music.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This course is in response to countless students over the years who have asked me to share more of what I do and know and how they might incorporate music/sound into their professions.
Inner Harmony offers a two-year program, consisting of three intensive weekend workshops per year, based on the work introduced in Take Two CDs and Call Me in the Morning by Suzanne Jonas, Ed.D. These classes must be taken in succession.
The course is for those who wish to add music and sound into their profession in a useful and structured way that is based in research, experience, and science. This may include:
nurses, doctors, psychologists, art therapists, massage therapists,
counselors, teachers, physical therapists, chiropractors, and
other healthcare professionals
musicians
those who love music and wish to use those energies
for both personal and professional growth.
The focus of this 2 year program is two fold:
Personal Growth - getting to know yourself through various music and sound therapies, and learning how to apply several sound therapies for healing to others. One cannot be an effective healer if you are carrying too many old patterns. It is most important to have as clear a channel as possible to your higher sources of wisdom.
Professional - learning the basics of sound, music, and the application of such as a therapeutic modality.
The first year emphasizes the clearing process of old patterns. We endorse the Biblical adage: Physician, heal thyself. We will use Guided Imagery and Music, therapeutic drumming, various chakra tunings and tonings, Hemi-Sync, bowls, and tuning forks to help uncover dysfunctional beliefs and transform them. Along the way you will also learn these techniques.
Each of the first three sessions is focused on two or three of the major chakras so that you become very familiar with the chakra system and all of the associations including correlations with dis-eases. Each of the chakras is also associated with particular music and sounds which can assist in opening and balancing these centers.
Journaling and assignments are required exercises to assist in your learning process. The more you become fluent in the language and subtle nature of your unconscious, the more you resonate to your intuitive and inherent healing abilities.
The second year explores sound healing modalities in depth. Psychoacoustics, quantum physics, and student research are the backbone of this time. You will learn about several sound therapies including MusicMedicine, BioAcoustics, VibroAcoustics, Acutonics, BioSonics, and more. The major requirement of this year is to learn one sound therapy modality of your choice in depth. This may mean an extra training session with the appropriate professional.
The uniqueness of this program is its comprehensive nature regarding sound therapies and its focus on assisting the student to become a more effective healer through self-exploration using a variety of music modalities.
At the end of the program, participants will:
have a basic knowledge of music: history and elements
have a basic knowledge of psychoacoustics
have a basic knowledge of music medicine and a variety of sound healing modalities
have a proficiency in one sound healing modality
have experienced personal growth

WHAT IS SOUND HEALING
Sound Healing, through various techniques and technologies, is the educated and conscious use of the energy of sound to reach identified goals and promote wellness in the human system, including the expansion of consciousness. It is founded on the premise that everything is vibrating at specific frequencies. (Globe Institute 2007)
