New CD Helps Dogs and Their Owners

Dogs often become anxious due to storms, confinement, illness, and medical procedures. They are also responsive to the tensions of their owners and other animals. Imagine the benefits of using a therapeutic CD to relax your dogs. Inner Harmony, a center devoted to assisting all living beings in reclaiming inner peace, has released a new relaxation CD based on research with dogs: “Music to Mellow Your Mutt.” Following the guidelines of recent research studies, the CD contains carefully selected and programmed classical piano pieces performed by pianist Robert Bonham, Professor Emeritus from Maryville College.

Playing a pre-release copy of “Music to Mellow Your Mutt,” L. Schmied observed: “I put on the CD for 2 anxious dogs and a cat and within 3 minutes all were laying down in front of the speakers calmly listening!”

This CD is also designed to be calming for dog owners and young children. It can be used in the background while preparing and eating meals, commuting, or when going to sleep. The calmer you are, the less anxious your pet will be.

Inner Harmony is collaborating with Tails of Hope Foundation, Inc. (“Tails of Hope”), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing the field of veterinary medicine and helping to eradicate cancer and other life-threatening diseases affecting companion animals, in bringing this CD to our pets. The foundation will be featuring it at various fairs and fund-raisers and encouraging veterinarians to use it in their offices.
Inner Harmony will be donating 20% of fair sales of the CD to Tails of Hope. Inner Harmony also offers two other CDs for pets: “SO Chord”, and “Animal Tamer”.
