Under 8's Cynon 45 - Abercwmboi 15

Another outstanding performance from these young players who again showed some lovely skills and tagged very well in defense. Lloyd Dennett and Cameron Fisher each crossed the line 3 times for Cynon with Connor Dixon crossing twice and 1 try coming from Josh Phillips.

Under 8's Pontypridd 15 - Cynon 40

Cynon played exceptionally well in very poor conditions with lovely passing despite the weather. Their very good defensive tagging kept Ponty's try tally down to 3. Cynon's tries scored by Connor Haymen 2. lloyd Dennett 2, and 1 apiece from Connor Dixon, Josh Phillips, Garyn Williams and Cameron Fisher.

Under 8's Cynon 30 - Pontyclun 25

An excellent show from both teams with cynon just coming out on top. Cynon showed real class today with fine tagging and passing. Their running and support play was also outstanding resulting in some cracking tries across the board. 3 tries came from Lloyd Dennett with 2 from Garin Williams and 1 from Lois Morgan.

Under 8's Cynon 80 - Dowlais 25

Another superb game from these youngsters against good opposition. Spurred on by their home crowd their tagging and passing was outstanding and they are becoming a force to be reckoned with. You cannot beat speed and these boys have plenty of it. Some lovely tries coming from Lloyd Dennet who crossed the line no less than 5 times, with a hatrick for Connor Dixon, 2 each from Connor Hayman, Garin Williams and Lewis Morgan and 1 apiece from Josh Phillips and Cameron Fisher.

Under 8's Cynon 40 - Rhumney 35

A very close encounter between two well matched teams. Despite extremely cold conditions, Cynon passed superbly and their tagging, as always, was excellent. 3 of cynon's tries came from Lloyd Dennett, 2 from Lois Morgan and 1 each from Garin Williams. Josh Phillips and Cameron Fisher.

Abercynon Under 8’s 30 – Gilfach Goch Under 9’s 20

An outstanding result for these cynon youngsters playing against bigger, older and of course more experienced boys. Cynon’s tagging and passing was superb and they managed to run in 6 cracking tries. Cameron Fisher crossing the line 3 times, Lloyd Dennett scoring 2 tries and 1 try from Garyn Williams.

Under 8's Abercynon 55 - Tondu 5

An outstanding effort from these younsters coming away with a brilliant result against such strong opposition. Their coach said " it was the best I have ever seen them play". Tries came 5 from Lloyd Dennett, 3 from Connor Dixon, Cameron Fisher 2 and 1 from Connor Haymen.

Under 8's Abercynon 45 - Bargoed 25

A great start to the new year with all the team playing really well with especially good tagging. Tries from Lloyd Dennett 4, Cameron Fisher 2 and one each from Connor Dixon, Connor Haymen and Josh Phillips.

Under 8's Abercynon 45 - Ynysybwl 5

Cynon's younsgters had it all today. Their passing was excellent and they took the ball forward superbly. They are really coming together as a team and playing for each other, which allowed them to score 9 cracking tries today. To add to this their tagging in defense was outstanding. Jack Fear crossed 3 times for cynon and Connor Haymen crossed twice. Connor Dixon, lloyd Dennett, Rhys Evans and Aaron Sheehan also scored a try apiece.

Under 8's Abercynon 30 - Pontyclun 15

An excellent victory for these youngsters today playing in very poor conditions against strong opposition. Cynon's passing and running were superb with 4 tries coming from Lloyd Dennett and 2 from Cameron Fisher.

Under 8's Abercynon 45 - Ystrad Mynach 10

A very pleasing performance all round from cynon with their defensive work being particularly good. Cynons tagging was exceptionally quick today and their passing and support play leading up to their tries was excellent. Lloyd Dennett went over 3 times again for cynon today with Cameron Fisher also scoring twice and the remaining tries coming from Connor Dixon, Josh Phillips, Garin Williams and Nile Griffiths.
