On the first Friday and Saturday in May, 24 of us (along with 4,000 other teenagers) attended an event called “Acquire the Fire” at the Tacoma Dome.  We listened, we sang, we prayed. We made some commitments. It was great by the fire. Now we want to keep the fire going.

 

5 teams with 2 hours and a digital camera and a list of shots to take....pictures that is. (Although, this bunny above is taking a shot to the face in a different way) Every picture had to have bunny ears and a bunny nose in it. Of course, some pictures were worth more points than others....like singing until someone gives you a dollar at Pike Place Market or being at the top of the Space Needle

 

We met at the Shore Club for appetizers. Then, about 50 students climbed on 7 boats and traveled to another waterfront destination for dinner followed by a bonfire dessert at the last stop before heading back to the Shore Club. Good food, good friends, good times from a good God. A special thanks to those who volunteered their homes, their boats and time!  

 

 

The M.U.D. Retreat!

This was an AWESOME opportunity for high school students from across the North Pacific Conference to gather together for one sweet three day weekend. Good food, good music, good friends and a chillin’ Polar Bear Swim in Elbow Lake. Good times.
