Shulamith Dress Collection

Shulamith Dubno Neiman was an Israeli folk singer who lived in the New York and Boston areas from 1950-1975. She collected folk songs from around the world and performed in a variety of venues, many times representing the State of Israel. For her performances, she commissioned both Arab and Israeli dressmakers to design her stage outfits. These outfits were decorated in traditional Yemenite and Bedouin designs. Shulamith recorded one album entitled Shulamith & the Two Guitars in 1970. She passed away in 1975.
