The two egrets shown are very common in San Diego County.  The tri-colored heron is uncommon.  The little blue heron is locally common.  The yellow-crowned night heron are uncommon, but can often be found in the few places that these birds haunt.  The ibis is uncommon and widespread. The bar-tailed godwit is a very unusual visitor from Alaska.
