Orioles

The common Orioles we have in San Diego County are the Hooded Oriole and the Bullock’s Oriole.  The Hooded are common backyard and urban park birds who prefer palm trees for nest sites. The Bullock’s prefer less developed areas for nesting.
The Baltimore Oriole and Scott’s Oriole are uncommon.
