God with us; we don’t have to be alone. Jesus, the second Adam, lived a sinless life and sacrificed Himself so that we could become free from sin and death. In Jesus, we find the fulfillment of God’s promise to Abraham that all nations on earth would be blessed through his descendants. Jesus’ life is an anticipation of things to come: his teaching, miracles and sacrificial death point us, his disciples, toward the kingdom.
