This is Rick Minnich - that guy in Berlin. I’m an American independent filmmaker living in Berlin, Germany. You probably found this festival blog through my own website www.rickfilms.de or through www.homemadehillbillyjam.com.
Since my last film HOMEMADE HILLBILLY JAM premiered at the Hot Docs International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada in April 2005, I’ve been on the road a lot, sometimes alone, sometimes with my producer Olaf Jacobs, my co-writer and editor Matt Sweetwood, or with Big Smith - the hillbilly heroes of the film.
