Lobotomy Cures Narcolepsy
A lot of us have been thinking about it. Sai was brave enough to actually do it!
Sai lobotomize his powerbook and rip out the sensor wires...... and it worked. Apple wont approve and this cure is ONLY for the BRAVE.
Let me put this another way..... DONT DO THIS unless you are prepared to deal with the consequences at some point.... if there are any.
I guess it is possible that some future firmware update or OSX update my cause problems when it finds the sensor is off line....
Sai reports that all is well with his so far and that is pretty good news.
I have invited him to join our group to keep us posted on any side effects or issues that may result from the operation. Have also asked for a close up image showing the wires he ripped out. Again.... THIS IS NOT A RECOMMENDED FIX...... but I'm going to try it as soon as I know exactly which wires to cut.
