John Dawson

One of the longest serving members of the band John also has one of the furthest journeys to get to band as he lives in Salford. John often struggles through wind, rain and even snow on his trusted motorbike to get to band practices and concerts.

John is a devoted Manchester United fan which is vary rare as he lives close to the ground and speaks with a Manchester accent!

As a carer John’s work often means he works unsociable hours but his dedication to Whitworth Band means he only misses when it is completely necessary.
