Carl has played with Whitworth for the whole of his banding career. He spent many years on bumper up before taking the brave decision to move onto the Soprano chair in 2007. Carl also plays with the band’s 10 piece outfit and the Veterans Band.

A civil engineer by profession Carl is regularly held personally responsible for the roadworks that seem to make some people late for band practices on a regular basis. He enjoys(?) DIY and mountain biking but his greatest passion (apart from Whitworth Band of course) is the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
